I was lucky enough to secure a spare playfield a few years ago, and intended to keep it so when the game is eventually sold (speak to the executor of my estate!!:) it could be offered with a brand new un-played field as well as new ramps and plastics which I also have.
The clear, while a good "factory" level job, is not perfect. This was more noticeable on the bare field than the one in the game. So I decided to give it to Tim to clear to his standard.
Bloody awesome!!

Sexy made even sexier

I thought the same Damien but the clear playfield window cannot be removed. Makes it hard
-
why remove it?
-
Oh I thought if you wanted to reclear over the top! Would not work
-
when they made it the window would have been installed before coating, surely.correct me if i am wrong.you dont remove inserts to clear,do you?

Not sure to be honest Damien if it was in before or after clearing. Inserts are small and generally not a clear window. I believe clearing over the top would make it very difficult to see through. But not sure I anyone has done one yet anywhere..
Anyway maybe another topic as I would be interested to find out...
