I can see it now - thanks - It looks like a Bally, but the pf art reminds me of Space Mission - A Williams EM game

Yeh - Bally or early Stern Bumper cap - need to blow it up a bit to see the artwork on the lower left plastic

Any chance you could host the pic with Photobucket?? ( works much better then Imageshack) and resize to 640X480.

Would get a nice image that fits the screen then

it is hosted on photobucket, but cant be blown-up as it becomes a blur, and thats about as much as I can re-size.

its a mystery pin!

but I did think Nino or Tony would have a good chance of knowing. I guessed it was a bally or stern, but am thinking bally, just cant find it yet!

Wow, that is a tough one. Well I don't think it is a Gottlieb or a Bally, definitely not a Stern. There is a 'dead' bumper at the top of the photo - Bally didn't use these on this era pin, they used the 'mushroom' bumper in it's place.

As Andrew pointed out, she looks from the circa 1966 era.

Maybe a Williams? These types of caps (Sunburst 10 points when lit first appeared in 1964 and were last seen around 1969). Gottlieb phased this cap out in 1967 but Williams and Bally used it through until the late 1960's.

Tough one Greg! Maybe a pin made in Europe?

Well if I spend enough time browsing the IPDB I may work it out.......at least I can limit my searches to pre 1970.

Was thinking the same thing - the posts look yellow (top left), which no US manufacturer used around this time and the stationary target to the right doesn't look like anything from this era. Also the 'dead' bumper skirt looks nothing like what was used on US made games

Yeah its intriguing :)

I do a fair bit of work with Enterprise Search Engines & Location Based Search systems (Geospatial) but these are dull compared to the interesting search engines coming out.

Have a look at this cool search engine (in Beta) http://tineye.com/ where you submit an image either by uploading from your HD or entering a URL. It will return results that are based on your submitted image. Sort of a 'find similar' search but more strict.
