There is a saying I have about Real Estate > "No one ever sells a gold mine, people only sell worthless tin mines dressed up as gold mines".

No one sells a profitable business. Even if u wanted to retire, you put in a good manager, sit back and keep the difference $$$.

But if people think you are going broke, they turn up and offer you 50 or 70 cents in the dollar for some or all of your stock. AND in this slower market, sometimes that can be a good thing to get some money thru the door and some free advertising.

On the gold coast, some businesses run permanent "Closing down sales". Sneaky but if it brings money thru the door.  ^^^
