Title: Anyone want to sell a Bally Skateball
Post by: swinks on March 08, 2011, 10:24:47 PM
Hi guys

Anyone out there want to sell a 1980 Bally Skateball to a good permanent home. Please let me know of any condition machine as long as it restorable and not too much playfield damage and has all the plastics as they seem to be really hard to find.

Does anyone know of where to find a full set of plastics?

Cheers

I have a very nice Skateball in the resto queue. I don't think the plastics will be reproduced for this title. It is such a rare machine it does not warrant the effort unfortunately.

I have come up with a solution which will be a bit of work - labour of love, I hope.

I managed to find a populated Skateball playfield and compared manuals with a Harlem GT and it looks like a sound board and score displays are the only components needed apart from a paint job and backglass to do a conversion (rebirth).

The hunt begins,
