Hello Ben
Sorry to disappoint you guys, but Joe is in Melbourne for a week.
This Monday has been cancelled but play resumes the following Monday as normal.

As usual, pinball faith will be on monday 23rd Aug.
Just found out Joe has secured five NIB Spiderman Red machines and they're in stock. These are genuine Australian spec. ex Stern. Price is $8,250
See you dudes at the meet . . .

Tron Arrives
« Reply #38 on: June 08, 2011, 09:07:27 PM »
Last night the boys got a chance to see and play Stern's new Tron at Joe's.
By the time we got there, Joe had already blinged it out with plenty of blue LEDs and a few coloured ones in selected spots.
First impression is a VERY fast flowing game. Pops are located quite low on the p/f and are fed via the left loop (like FH) and a mini loop on the right. The spinning rubber disc which is revealed when the motorised standup bank retracts randomises the ball and sometimes flings it out faster than a bishop in a brothel raid. There's also a third flipper for the right ramp and that tight mini-loop; this adds much to the game.
Artwork is pretty stunning and the music and sounds are awesome (must catch the movie soon)
Overall, the boys were very favourably impressed with the whole package.

Thanks to Joe for letting us have a bash on this cool new machine.

If done from factory LEDs wouldn't have cost that much more to start with, either, you would think. Plus they should last a lot longer than a globe.
