Nah, I watched a mate do that years ago and it cost him a bomb for a patent for Aus, Euro and USA, I am better off just trying to sell a few and just enjoy the experience - at least no one can patent it now that it's out in the public.
Not that I am cocky but sure if a company likes the idea they will get them made by the bucket load..... what can you do....
