Ball gate
« on: December 08, 2012, 05:48:21 PM »
Hi guys, need a ball gate exit wire for Williams Flash. These wire's are slightly longer and a thinner gauge then I'm able to get a hold of.

mmm... I scrapped a FLASH some years back that had been in a fire and have a box of parts... may well have the whole ball gate asembly intact. If ive pulled it apart i will be scratching my head as to which wire frame it is as i have a few.
Will look tomorrow.. if i have it.. its yours

Another method

I made one for my GODZILLA with thin coat hanger wire....was easy to cut n sahape, n every house has fifty million wire coat hangers...
**Just dont use the really old thick grey ones....just use the newer coat hangers which are shiny silver and much thinner and come from places like
K Mart/Big W in packs of 5 etc for the cost of peanuts.

Hope it helps for anyone wanting to make or replace any wire products on any pinball gates etc.  ^^^

I've used bicycle rim spokes to make wire gates.. did that for my own Flash that was missing the wire for the gate where the ball enters the pf from the shooter lane, as well as a Bride of Pinbot that i restored that had a broken wire gate.. worked a treat  ^^^

My Flash came without the gate. Made one out of roll-over wire. I like the idea of bike spoke as the rollover wire is a bit light.
