Hi guys,
WHen I picked up my LAH (it was from Germany) I noticed a black cable (bell type) with a female plug (similar to the old school headphones jack - the big one my parents had) which ran from the coin door to the rear of the machine and out where the power plug was.
I am guessing it was perhaps connected to something which the operators may have monitored but I just don't know.
Can anyone shed some light on what this is?

Regards
(sorry for my dirty hands...I'm no model unfortunately!)

Never seen one before... Connected to the coin door... Must be for some sort of accounting/monitoring ?

Looks like a 6.5mm phono jack... but the purpose??? Who knows...
What is it connected to?

I once had an unconnected cable than ran from near the coin door to the knocker power and earth (1 pair) knocker was disconnected. It was quite thick. Someone said once it may have been connected to a counter ? to measure replays maybe. weird cause this is available in stats anyway (wpc machine). machine was from italy..

It was connected to one of the microswitches (where) the coin mech would have sat. I agree that it would most likely be for an audit function....
It was out of interest more than anything!
