Would have preferred they used a lesser machine, as King Pin is a beauty.  Depends how shot the glass and PF on the KP was i guess.

the Metallica rethemed Earthshaker the same folks made is even better, even though I hate Metallica.

As long as the PF was worn beyond repair, it is a very cool result, if they hacked a perfectly good kingpin to make it then  @.@

I can assure all of you that the KP was landfill before this project took place.. ill try and get some before pics for you all.
Wade is looking at some custom EM machines.. apparently he has quite a bit of interest in this from collectors who have write off EMs but good mechanics inside.. the METALLICA pin has really set the ball rolling.

Main project is with Greg Freres and Dennis Nordman... the  co designer and artist behind ELVIRA.

When im allowed to say more.. it will all be posted on AP exclusively

Great to hear the King Pin was not "sacrificed" for this project. I actually think it is quite cool !

Look froward to the updates, Gavin

this looks great.
and i would rather see a pin end up like this instead of stripped and 3/4 of it going into landfill.

now if they had destroyed a good pin that would be sad.

i can see a trend happening here. why pay top dollar for a great condition pin when we can make a custom pin out of a cheaper thrashed out pin.

My KP is far from trashed-out but..............I would definately have it re-themed like this.
