Not because it was dirty, broken etc... just a game you think sucks balls!
Had the 'pleasure' to play Dungeons & Dragons last week and for the life of me I couldn't get into it. I would have to say it's the worst machine I've played.

Fishtales.. cannot stand the audio on it
-
Don't shoot me But.... Kiss

Its gotta be Popeye, I would rather watch paint dry :tumble:

Force II
Gottlieb sys 80
Big heap of nothing

Funny you mention Dungeons and Dragons. I have long wanted to play one, and this year got the chance. It is terrible indeed. The addams family, and twilight zone are pretty low on the fun factor for me. One game I at first though thought was bad is Teed-off, but I have recently come around to it.

Least favorite game to play is the machine that needs a flipper kit cause the flippers are weak. @.@
I am not a fan of any machine that is sooo very slow that you can launch a ball, go n make three coffees before the ball rolls back down to the flippers, hence most pre Dmd games except a very select few will ever get past my front doors, but that's just personal choice.
Many people have more experience than me when it comes to older games so I am always open to new ideas, but fast action and Dmd style games rarely make me pick any specific title as being very bad. They are all fun compared to not playing pinball.

Bally Future Spa - a plodder at best. Artwork is horrific and not even 5 pop bumpers can save this machine.
-
Hankin Empire Strikes Back - plays about as poor as they come. Some shots (like the shooter lane re-entry) are not achievable other than by chance. The two rows of three round stand up targets are far too close and get destroyed regularly. The upper flippers are there just to help destroy those round stand ups. Pity, it looks sensational, worth having on looks alone, just don't press the start button!!

That's a tough one for me to answer, I used to hate playing any E.M. but now I don't mind them.
I found scared stiff was a bit boring for me but then again I have only played a couple of games on it and I have been told by a good friend not to judge a machine until you have played a decent amount of games on it so my choice may change in the future.
-
sorry but my d&d is my favorite machine, player game,a real chalenge, not for novice.

sorry but my d&d is my favorite machine,
And there is the beauty of it.. what someone thinks is crap, another thinks it's the best.

Blackwater 100 - It looks so promising on paper but playing it is a whole another story. The annoying bluegrass music, starting with a three ball multi-ball at the start of EVERY ball. It was the last true Bally machine and you can tell the financial shortcuts they were making, the machine was clunky, cheap and nothing about it inspired me to keep playing (and keep it).

waterworld,had it two years,gone now &^&

I agree with nick pure strikes back sucks balls. If the backglass wasn't Awsome I'd scrap it instead of restore it

Interesting nominations. I find it difficult to dislike a title, but clearly there are some really strange designs. I love Dungeons and Dragons, Blackwater 100, Transporter and Atlantis. All Midway games. All rare. But I can't stand Special Forces. But I know there will be someone who loves it !
That's what is so AWESOME about pinball. HUGE variety.

I can't think of any machines I really don't like but one that did disappoint was Lord of the RIngs. I had the opportunity recently to play this game and was ready to love it! I loved the movies, loved the pics I'd seen of the machine and wanted nothing less than to play it and find that it was the most awsome game I'd ever played. Unfortunately I found the actual game play quite boring and after a couple of games I'd had enough. Having said that, if I had the opportunity again I'd definatly give it another go because I think it looks great and I'd really like to like it.

Worth having just for that great backglass for sure Daniel.

This hobby provides so much variety and as many have pointed out, one man's pleasure is another's poison. For me Spring Break (Gottlieb/Premier) is my least favourite and judging by the amount of coin I collected from the cashbox for my then employer I'm guessing I was not alone in my assessment.

Firepower2 ^.^ what a dissapointment after the original....
-
I am a Steve Ritchie fan but Stellar Wars is my least favourite machine of all time (apologies to collectors who have one). People say that SW grows on you but luckily the only thing that grows on me is hair. Paragon is probably the only wide body I enjoyed.

umm, some games are so crap they are good, and i often find that.
however i have two i have played this year and hated,
One i remembered being so much better when i first played it along time ago,
I played it for the first time in years a few weeks ago and i was wondering why i didnt like it,
The music was more annoying than i remember and the game play wasnt what i remembered to be, wont say what it is because that will be two popular games that are held highly (way to controversial) lol .so that i dont annoy to many people I will the just say the other title however, sorry guys ACDC.
I think maybe i am more angry about these games as i had high expectations. where i have played crap games with low expectations and enjoyed them.

A couple come to mind for me, Twilight Zone is one i did a shop out job on a few years ago, had it at my home for a month so i had plenty of time to play test it, couldn't get into it much at all. I played VERY SAME TZ on site several years before hand, same deal.
Terminator 3 which i played at Newcastle pinfest, i couldnt get into either, though i didnt really put a lot of time into getting to know it while there, so maybe if i'd been able to spend more time on it things might've been different.
From the point of view of games i own (or have owned) Klondike probably got played the least, sold it a few months ago to Andy (AP member greenechidna). though i must admit i do miss it a bit since its been gone.. at least i can still see it and play it when i visit him *%*

Orbitor 1 for me - I bought one back from the dead, but wished I had not bothered...
First few games are fun, then you realise the chances of hitting what you are aiming for are close to nil. Interesting concept poorly executed.
-
fj , so much to do, I couldn't cope.
I think there's only 4 targets and a couple of spinners. I think it might be an easy game to maintain as there is nothing on it. Might as well get a plank of wood and roll a ball on it

IJ4 and ACDC

Attack from Mars and Flintstones.

Noooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!! Future Spa is AWESOME!!!!
:-)

Sorry, but my Addams Family didn't do much for me, even with Gold software - whatever that does...... Owned it for 2 years and could never enjoy it as it had, in my opinion, too easy a set of rules. [the kids did though, only dues to the hand nicking the ball ::) ] Only good thing with it was that when I sold it, I made a decent profit on it <.>
