Hi guys,

I am Gavin from Ballarat, new to aussiepinball.

Have always played video games and played some pinball years ago, my strategy never went beyond just trying to keep a ball on the playfield :)

I am interested in electronics and mechanical things so lately I have been thinking a lot about pinball, browsing eBay and the net and trying to resist temptation...

Welcome Gavin, the strategy of just trying to keep a ball on the playfield works for me too! Better than some who will remain nameless Wotto whose strategy is to keep whacking the ball in the hope of hitting a target before ball search goes off.. .. ..

Thanks for the welcome guys :)

Not sure about a choice for first pinball.

I would like to own a Twilight Zone some day, not only because of its reputation but also because I love the show and Rod Serling is a personal hero of mine...

Welcome aboard, Gavin.

Twilight Zone is one of the more controversial pinball machines with some people thinking it the best machine ever or close to it (it is currently rated number one over at IPDB), but others seem to wonder what all the fuss is about. I haven't played one enough to give you my opinion, but given your enjoyment of the show I imagine you will love the pinball game.

You will have to save up quite a few dollars to secure one.
