Always cracks me up and pisses me off at the same time.
Can u fix my pinball it's just a fuse or something simple ( how many times do we hear that?)
Repairing a wpc board at the moment and almost every fuse on it is 20amps even the 3/4amp fuse and people wonder why smoke comes from there games.
Moral of the story always check your fuses on a new game ^^^

What most people fail to realise is that the fuse is only there to stop the house from burning down!
It IS NOT there to stop transistors or coils from shorting. Yes, it 'might' prevent further damage BUT there will almost always be something stuffed if a fuse (of the correct value) has gone open.

how many times have you heard "the fuse kept on blowing so I put a higher value fuse and its fine now" ^&^

Can't fault their logic :) Those people probably feature in the Darwin Awards eventually.....

But.. but.. but...
One you put the bigger fuse in, the game lets the magic smoke out, and it's easier to find the source of the problem :)
