Tournament Mode
« on: November 23, 2008, 08:08:01 PM »
I got a fair idea of what tournament mode is designed for but would like clarification for myself and any newbies not sure about it. I'm guessing to keep random rewards/score standard between all players etc? Reason for asking is I have just installed the home rom on the TZ and held in the 2 flippers during attract mode and got "tournament mode".

I think tournament mode is to de-randomize random features, so that no player is aided by a random award, like the awards in Stroke of Luck in AFM where very rarely you can even get a random extra ball award.

That's what I thought, otherwise a guy could win by some good luck rather than good play. A bit like soccer where you can dominate but a lucky goal and you can be done for.
