Title: Container has Landed
Post by: Greg on August 07, 2012, 01:05:34 PM
I would just like to thank the guys who took the time off of work
to help unload the parts and games.

A special mention to Strangeway’s for the hook up with the
Customs agent & the container movers at this end, it just made the whole deal
So easy.

And most importantly James from Pinball Inc
Who let me store everything at his place while I collected every thing for this container and when I say “ he stored” these things, they took up a 2 car garage, his dinning room, his games room, his office, the hallway in his house and even a bathroom, And who went out and brought and picked up all the (20 odd) machines himself including driving down to Lynn’s (little shop of games) in Florida to pick up a game for me. Not to mention found a freight forwarder, wrapped and boxed everything, ordered and packed the container.

Thanks James for letting me turn your house in to a bombsite for over 2- 2-1/2 years, you may actually be able to put the table back in the dinning room %.%

Some good karma there, sounds like some great people in the states and nino of course who were willing to help you out. Congrats on the container.
Are these all for you or are you selling some off?

Glad to help, Greg - always a pleasure. I enjoyed the day.

I have to say that the packing of the container was easily one of the best I've ever seen. Credit to James and yourself for doing such a good job. Everything arrived safely, and every single box was intact  ^^^.

It is great to see so many Pinball Inc Ramps hitting the market soon, I lost count of the boxes. I have pictures in my phone that I will upload later today.

Some of the pins are were purchased by APR, which I will list once Greg and I have had time to go through all of them.

Goodies ? Used to love that show..

Here are some pictures from yesterday. It was an early start, around 8:00 AM. All the parts were really well packed (thanks to James  ^^^) - not ONE box was crushed or damaged. Playfields, backglasses (in a crate), Ramps, toppers, legbolts (heavy), Balls and a heap of surprises Greg will no doubt be listing on his site over the coming days.. weeks.. months..

I've checked all the games, none are missing  #@#.

Now for the pics ;

Well done Greg.  Good to hear there was no 'pinball magic' disappearing tricks and everything made it safe and sound.  Hats off to James as well who is obviously a good mate and good operator.  You gonna need staff soon????

 %.%

The "Pinball Magic" was imported for a member here. No Disappearing tricks, except for the game itself  %.%. All Ramps are present and accounted for.

Greg gave me an original Williams "Save your pin kit" that I'll post pictures of. It was the "route" spare parts inventory for field repairs. Amazing find.
