Where can I buy a tumbler from?
« on: October 17, 2009, 12:42:35 PM »
Hi guys
just wondering where i can buy a decent value for money tumbler ( one that is low in price but does the job )
I am not after a cheap & nasty or one that costs the earth.

i intend buying one in the next six months and just want to know what sort of money i need to put aside for one.

It will be for polishing pin parts of course.
any input from members that have one would be helpful.
thanks guys

I bought mind from the local gun shop. Can recommend the 'Lyman Turbo tumbler'.

I purchased mine from a firearms dealer.  Its also a Lyman 1200 pro.  Given they are on for 24+hrs at a time, I prefer a well known brand.  These come highly recommended all over.

I would allow around a max of $160 for the tumbler.  If you go the Lyman they come with a bag of medium too.

thanks guys
i live on the gold coast but spend a lot of time in brisbane.
i will check the fire arm dealers on both the gold coast and brisbane.

i am willing to spend up to $200 so they are in my price range.

I was looking on egay and the prices were higher than that (didn't check on lyman though)
but you know egay prices are all over the place.
