I have been playing around with my Phoenix machine (like yours) and I found that the general illumination and everything light wise is MUCH brighter after Beaky rebuilt the power supply board and the others. Adding brand new 44 globes everywhere also helped alot instead of the 30 yr old working originals.

I think I will stick to std bulbs beause you can get away with Leds on DMD games, but it just completely changes the original look on older 70's games.

Overall, a nice looking game the 1978 model Phoenix Pinball. I think there are 3 or 4 Phoenix owners on here now. More the better !
