Thanks Gents,

Just FYI, I spoke to them and they say I can have one for $250 USD but they do not want to ship. They say it's a pain and expensive. I asked how expensive and they say $350 USD for freight to AUD.

I have no problem with the $250 even at 70c AUD/USD but this freight is ridiculous. Anyone have any ideas on cheaper ways to safely get the backglass here?

J.D. :D :D :D

Been there before. When you AGREE to the terms, you get "stung" with an additional US$50 "handling fee", because you are in australia. Funnily enough, you would think the US$350 would cover that... @.@

My advise would be to wait until CPR repro the Backglass.

They are looking at PLASTICS for Gorgar. I guess you could email them and ask if the playfield is in their future plans.

My favorite website (just about) - I've spent some coin with these guys - the quality of their work is outstanding.

That does sound high - there is an issue with shipping parcels of a certain size from the US and Global Priority is the only way to go (so they say).

The Shay Arcade Group charges US$195 per backglass to ship and I thought that was expensive. Then I notice that Mike Pacak ships backglasses to Australia for US$90 - so go figure?

Tony - I just tidied up the quote on your post.

Mike Pacak simply NEVER answers emails. I don't know how the guy does business.

The overpriced shipping from some sellers is simply that - Overpricing. They like to make a "cut" on shipping to Australia and they often make it sound harder than it really is so they can justify overcharging.

CPR charge US$115 per box via UPS. No handling "fees" for packing a second or third glass. It's usually a 7 day wait and you can track you package on the UPS website. You cannot beat that service.

Thanks I will try Wayne and see if this is possibole otherwise the CPR option. Thanks Gents.

Wayne offered to scan my apron and produce the decals for $100 but I needed to freight my apron to Melb and return so I had a go myself. Very pleased with the results awhen the fisnished product comes back from the signwriters and if OK, I will send Wayne a copy. Also did the coin slots 20 CENTS and Williams Aluminium blanking plate.

I am really pleased with this machine. A little more work, a backglass and it's time to play.

Cheers JD
