How do you do this?

Need to replace the spring which is attached on end. (see picuture) there is a pin holding the spring in. Apart from trying to bash it out -the pin that is. Any tips on removing the spring?

Knock the cotter pin out with the correct pin punch - I think unless my over 50 eyesight deceives me  :lol

Usually sold as a set (Punch Kit) obtained from any Automotive shop (Auto One,Repco etc),not too expensive.
Thats if that is a cotter/clevis pin  *!@ .A clearer picture would verify this.
