Pinball Trolley
« on: July 12, 2011, 06:27:11 PM »
With another pin coming soon i need a trolley,i usually have a space of 30cm between my pins for easy access for any repairs, cleaning ect. With this purchase one wall will have 4 in a row and they will be butted up to each other, leaving me bugger all space for access.I tried to contact Gamemasters to see if they still had the offer they had for AP members being $420.00 for the trolley and $50.00 postage.I sent a PM and also an email to felix at gamemasters with no response,i then rang today at 5 oclock, not knowing if they may have shut up for the day.Has anyone purchased a trolley from them recently or does anyone know if that offer is still available ?.I will try ringing again tomorrow a little earlier to see if i can get a response. !@#.

I use one of these:

https://www.machineryhouse.com.au/Products?stockCode=J050

With the silver handle removed, does very well for what I require.

I use one also, great for DMD era
not so great for early SS or EM's (the legs on these games are closer together)

Punter, I am the same as MartyJ and Pop Bumper Pete, I use that trolley listed in the link and its the best trolley I have come accross out of several variants.

In my honest opinion, its far better and cheaper. Hope it helps like the other guys have said.  ^^^

Thanks for the replies everyone,i was looking at the silver handle type a while ago but i was thinking the same as you said Pete in that this type may not suit all of the games i have. When this pin arrives i will have 3 SS machines,2 DMD machines and 1EM so i need something that will suit them all.I will try contacting gamemasters again tomorrow and hopefully it will all be sorted out then.Thanks.

Have a look at the link MartyJ provided, but scroll down and look at the JO48 model -its what i have, and is narower, so should suit most pins - there is about 30mm clearance between each of the legs on a dmd and the table (ie: overall 60mm) - way cheaper than $450 as well, and they posted to me for $45 from Brisbane to Townsvile

I have one like that, I heated up the silver handle with an oxy and put a slight bend in it so the platform sits in the middle of the pin but the handle can still be used to move it around.
