The worst kept secret needs not much of an announcement, but APR is proud to announce that it is the Official Classic Playfield Reproductions Distributor in Australia / New Zealand. Finally, stock will be held on Australian soil and be available as soon as the first shipment arrives.
Playfields - Limited numbers to begin with as CPR continue to sell playfields direct at this time. Some titles will be available from APR.
Backglasses - Some Will be available through APR.
Plastics Sets - Most Will be available through APR.
Pricing will be competitive as I will be buying in bulk. Items will be available via the www.australianpinballrestorations.com.au website AFTER products start to arrive in mid June. I will be working on the pricing model once the stock has arrived.
Please be patient with the ordering / updating process !
As many of you know, I have been a supporter of CPR's products, so this arrangement makes perfect sense with my business model. I look forward to providing collectors / hobbyists and restorers the very best in restoration products !

Great stuff Nino - congratulations!
-
congratulations Nino, you are building a great aussie pinball business
-
Nino that is great news, both for you, your brand and the Australian pinball hobby as a whole. Really good score picking up this line of products. I for one will be much more likely to buy a CPR product knowing it is will be sold locally rather than going through CPR's ordering process.

If we want a CPR playfield, do we place the pre-order though you or with CPR?
What about existing pre-orders, can we buy them though you ( if the postage is cheaper)?
Will you be making announcements of new products, or will we still have to sift though Pinside?

You can hound me, because I will be hounding them ! I already have a long list to give them. I have a good working relationship with Kevin already.

Playfield Pre Orders are still done through CPR. They manage the list and the distribution. At this stage - That's how it is setup. It is subject to change, and I will be discussing this with Kevin in the future.
Existing orders are still managed directly with CPR.
Regarding announcements, I am your CPR representative, so anything passed on to me, will be posted here. Swinks does a GREAT JOB posting the new products that hit the CPR website, and I don't mind who posts updates etc. I may be able to provide info that is not readily available to the public. There's a lot in the pipeworks.
Thanks to all for the kind comments. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask !
-
I just posted as I knew guys doing resto's would like the info but now that you are the main man in Aus I don't want to step on any toes and you will probably learn what is available prior to where I see stuff on Pinside.
Congrats again.
Put me down if they ever do a CFTBL pf.

I had to think about this for a second:
In the pipeline + in the works = in the pipeworks %$% nice.
Congrats on picking up the distributorship!

You need to tell CPR to update their web site to include you
-
Great stuff Nino . Good on you . ^^^ I'd guess more guys will buy CPR products now that they can be sourced locally .

And I need to update my website as well. I just need to find the time !

This was the biggest issue with previous distributors and it has been identified and addressed as part of the agreement *%*

Nino, will you be keeping some sort of stock of the CPR products and say order X amount of a certain playfield as soon as you are able or will you gauging interest first and then placing orders later?
I know there is a bit of a risk there having stock sit on the shelves for a while but jeez it would be nice to be able to walk into your factory and see the items in the flesh or have you take pics of the actual item available for purchase.

I have backglasses and plastics sets on order. The playfields are unknown at this stage as there are pre order lists that take CPR into 2017 and possibly later. The pre order requests are fulfilled and then distributors have the ability to stock them.
The backglasses and plastics will be stored in my factory, and on display in my showroom.
Whatever CPR release, APR will have some stock 2 weeks later or even before.

Will CPR be represented at the pinball expo that's pencilled in for later this year?
-
Would the factions allow that???
It would be nice to have an AP organised event in Melbourne.
-
Nice work Niño! Please lobby CPR for a Firepower backglass!! And put me down for one
-
well done Nino
your bizz is growing Howzat

Not sure. The "Starship Fantasy" Distributor should be present at the "Chicagoland Show". You would need to contact them directly. I think they attend most shows including Allentown Pinfest.

I intend to do this once the madness of setting up and catching up with the current workload is done. I would love members to visit me in the new place and play pinball. I promise not to sell container junk @@^
I love what Joe does at "Kids Just Wanna Have fun", so that will be something I will do in the future.

Great news, well done, Nino! ^^^

That's great Niño, congrats
