Title: Awesome Development - DMD and new software for an old game
Post by: pinnies4me on October 25, 2010, 12:57:09 AM
Take a look at what a couple of clever dudes are doing to add a DMD and new rules to The Machine: Bride of Pinbot using the P-ROC programable board.

Unbelievable!!

Stunning video clip. Breathtaking modifications. Incredible animations. More to come!
Absolutely inspiring. Wish I could assemble a team of dudes with that kind of smarts.
Hats off to our friends from the Netherlands!

Great video, very interesting what some people are capable of!

Don't worry about this being posted on AA as well, nothing wrong with sharing this sort of thing in my opinion.

IMO ..being able to design your own rules, graphics etc & then share this with the community is the future of pinball. Whether its this P-ROC system or another that takes off waits to be seen.

Games like LOTR are not great because of their playfield design, they are great because of their rulesets .. I can see many mediocre games being reborn with deep rulesets, graphics, possibly extra toys etc etc ... I'm really excited to see where this goes

If I knew python programming i'd be getting one of these for sure (and then get started with fixing up the ruleset on my CV). Maybe a more friendly programming interface is yet to come ..i hope so

Good work to all involved ... really amazing stuff #*# #*#
