I received this as a present a few months ago
Sorry it is a bit fuzzy

We think it dates back to around the time of WW I

It measures about 24 cm (9.5 inch) by 17 cm (6.5 inch)

You take a small ball from the bottom, and by rotating the game and by avoiding the holes, move it to the top of the board


What do you call these games ?

Interesting - I've never seen anything like it. There were some 70's style coin games where you dropped a coin in at the top and flicked if from left to right etc.

Definitely a conversation piece.

it was probably a very well known game in its time.  perhaps used by many a soldier to keep busy and pass the time.

definately a unique item for the gamesroom and bar area.

Stick it on the wall next to a World War 1 gas mask. That would look way cool in your bar room.
