WALL ART RESTORES

Hello again
                  Found the photos of some of my wall art restores wasnt sure if they belong in this section? But here they are

First off is my Mata Hari Wall Hanger again this was saved from landfill so dont hate me to much. But if you do have to hate me i dont really care so build a bridge lol.

As can be seen it disnt look real good when i saved it

Stripped it down ready to clean it up i wanted to make a wall hanger after seeing Wottos Kiss one on his website

This was before i had any idea how to remove mylar so i left the mylar patch on spewing now but oh well.  I tried to touch up some of the damged areas which most of it was flaking.

I had a go at clearcoating with Auto Acrylic Clear as i was doing a car at the time sadly it went all fish eyed but still ok for wall art

All framed and hanging on the wall.  Ive made them so i can swap them easily as i get bored easily as it as missing the apron and a few plastics it only lasted in the games room till i finished the next one so here is a pic of it in the games room.  Ive since made up some repro plastics to replace the broken ones and found an apron for it. But i cant get any photos as it buried behind machines.

Awesome stuff!  Huge difference from when you found it....Cannot believe someone threw a machine out at the tip!

I laughed at seeing the Ace Ventura VHS cassette as well!!    &&

Wasnt a full machine and it hadnt made the tip yet it was in a pile of rubbish waiting to go to the tip. I really wish i could have taken the whole pile as it was all pinball arcade and jukebox spares.  It was literally 6 foot high and about 15 foot round.

Yeah always learning something new. And the best way to learn is to have a go. (on something thats already stuffed)
