I know mark has been keeping this updated so i have not posted but I have been busy trying to do GST and preparing for a few tax returns.

Just my thoughts on the day

The function was well attended and I believe a great time was had by all.

We raised a total of just under $2300 for the appeal by asking for donations for entry, sausage sizzle, drinks and a couple of raffles.

I thank all that attended and I thank them for there generosity with the door donations.

I apologize to the people that we had to disappoint by not having any sales that day but it was all about raising money and not sales.

I’d also like to thank the staff at Child (who put in some hours to get things ready) and the other people that contributed there time and goods to help make this day a success.

I didn't have time to contribute as much as i would have liked but the others did a great job

Thanks to all well done  @@* @@*

Great to hear it went well. Sorry I couldn't make it with some home renovations that can't wait. Thinking of moving soon. The AP meet I hope isn't too far away as the trip for me will be much longer if I move to the West. So c'mon Mark give us a date

Congrats to all the organizers of the event yesterday

yes I did notice that you "God" was MIA, maybe next time

Yep it had to be that weekend. Been postponing for weeks but ran out of excuses. spewing

I will certainly be aiming to attend the next meet!

Now we need to talk the Discovery Network into filming a new series, where a group of enthusiasts 'overhaul' a pinball machine in 24hrs!  Now that would be cool to be part of!

Overhaul a pin in 24 hours? as long as we add checkerplate and large pipes too ;-)

Extreme pinball !!!  !*!

The next AP meet will require each person to unload 1 pin from the container as 'entry fee' hehehehe  #*#

Considering the objective of the last meet was as a fundraiser for the Bushfire Appeal - EVERYTHING was done on short notice. This time, there should be PLENTY of notice so travel arrangements can be made etc..

It would be great to see interstate members  #*#

Looking forward to it, had a great time at the Bushfire Aid meet.

Either date is fine by me. 20th has more leverage attached to it as I will be looking after 4 kids for the week beforehand without my wife.

I'm free on either date -

But how about the 6th for our interstate members ? (Queens B'Day weekend). Take Thursday off - Drive/Fly down and leave on Monday ?

Wouldn't happen to be any Drum clinics on around that time, Wotto ?
