Title: Playfield removal Roadshow
Post by: 63wizz on September 03, 2016, 12:27:09 PM
Some time ago i done a playfield restoration on my Roadshow, at the time i never touched the cabinet, so i have stripped the cabinet and removed the circuit boards from the back box.
Now i need to remove the playfield which is fully populated and heavy being a wide body pin.
So how/what is the best way to remove the playfield from the cabinet, the sliding locking brackets look confusing.

Have it sitting fairly well back so the locking arms are not engaged but have the front propped on the lockdown bar reciever. Then put one hander under the back of pf and another on the front and heave! Lift straight up and make sure you are clearing the hinge points
