Hi all,
recently purchased a holy grail pin and immediately started the restoration process. Have ordered various parts and in the mean time, created a custom topper because it was hard to source an original and too costly for the one that I did find.
The project started off with a simple idea and now I've let my imagination run wild with various topper designs. Have posted pictures of my first 2D Guns n Roses topper, hand cut on 3mm perspex and my latest 3D Guns n Roses topper with two sheets of 3mm perspex.
Have also created a custom Street Fighter II topper and got more ideas in the works for other machines.
Cheers!
Adam.

EXCELLENT JOB. Well thought out 4 sure. ^^^

Just as good if not better than the factory topper. Well done !

Awesome job!
The 3d versions looks excellent. ^^^
Any plans to add lights?

Being an "old fogey" like I am I can't for the life of me understand why anybody's holy grail pin would make you listen to GnR music. I just can't stand that band. Mostly the marshmallow-in-the-nostrils singing. I'd be happy never to hear a GnR song for the rest of my life really.
BUT... looks like a really nice restoration and a great-looking topper. Good job!

Great work ^^^
I love custom toppers (see existing toppers thread)
Your effort is world class IMHO.
Beats shelling out for originals at extortionate prices, plus you have the fun of being creative.

No immediate plans to add lights, but I have thought about it.
Wow, Kansas City. I have a friend from Kansas City. Going to his wedding in Phoenix in October and then off to Pinball Expo in Chicago. Double WIN!
