One of the most creative pinball personalities has passed away. A very sad day for pinball.
Rest In Peace.

A man who thought outside the box
RIP

Very, very sad day for pinball. For the people who churned (and some still do) generic designs, he was always pushing the limit, for better or worse.
His interviews are always unique and a little crazy, but you can't argue is influence on the industry wasn't significant. RIP, Father of Pin*Bot :(

Sad to hear. Pinball is at that age where many icons are getting on in years unfortunately. They will all eventually leave behind one hell of a legacy.

Sad to hear, still so young, life is fragile and short. The likes of Python live it to the max. Joust was the only video game I seriously played in early arcades.

A very sad day indeed, I was only yesterday talking to someone about his prognosis, this has really saddened me.

If there's any consolation in this, it's that Pinball Magazine is featuring him in their next issue. It's a relief that the publisher/author/interviewer had a chance to get Python's final thoughts and opinions before he passed.
This is hitting me more than I thought. It's sad when we lose anyone in the industry, but moreso when it's someone who pushed the creative envelope as much as he did. Will be missed :(

Sad news indeed, I guess we will never get to see zingy bingy now, he had some bizarre ideas and thoughts but seemed like a pretty down to earth guy. I look forward to playing his pinball circus one day when I get over to Vegas. RIP Python.

Very sad news. I loved some of his interviews. Never really held back his thoughts did he?

I don't think you could have said that any more politely!

Another sad day. Hopefully no more bad news for some time now. What were some of his titles?
