I worked at Myer store in Toowoomba in the computer department back in the 80's and absolutely loved the Amiga 500.
Compared to the PCs at the time, the Amiga blew them all away with it's graphics and sound capabilities. 

Like you Beaky, I also had several boxes full of Disks.(Actually my dad still has them all!) 
Also loved Boulderdash on Amiga. So many great levels and 2 player co-op mode as well.
Other games I remember are "Defender of the Crown", "Sinbad and the throne of the falcon" and of course "It came from the desert"

I think the first time I ever encountered a computer virus was on my beloved A500. (Those were the days!)

A while back I stumbled upon the E.A.G.E.R.(Every Amiga Game Ever Released) pack and WinUAE and still enjoy an old Amiga game every now and then.
