I know this isn't any sort of arcade or any other type of coin op but thought it was interesting.
I check out kickstarter every now and then, looking at what some of the creative people are doing.
This one appealed to me as I grew up playing lots of card games when I went on family holidays and thought this was such good value to score a full game in a nice box shipped to Aus for $20 to play with the family in the future and with my nephew that likes to drop over here and there.
This is called Pack of Hero's - Vintage Comic Superhero Card Game and based off comics I assume of the 60's and 70's but I never heard of many of the characters.

in has already reached it's goal and now hitting stretch goals which means game parts upgrades even if you are donating the minimum amount.
Does anyone recognise these characters?
How do you think they would get around the copyright if there is one?
Also a interesting fact that I have noticed is that Kickstarter projects that do really well are ones that you can score something for your donation.

also doesn't the character on the top right look like Bride of Pinbot ??? - is pinball related

Looks lame, where is Bender?

Considering most games in retail stores today start well above the $50 entry level price, this seems good value for money.
I agree, these kickstarters are great to browse through.
Thanks for the link.

I heard back from the guys doing this and all original characters but just influenced by the vintage mags, so no copyright issues.
