There was no standard white, nor finish on Ballys or Gottliebs.

As with any manufacturing process, the cabinet painting was sometimes outsourced, or paint suppliers changed through the years. I've seen factory black a shade more gloss than base finishes. KISS has more of a semi gloss than Eight Ball. Fathom is almost a flat, as is Medusa. Pro Football is a cream, Ice Review is an off white. I'm not surprised that the base may have been green for Captain Fantastic. Maybe it was what the supplier had lying around !
