Title: Importing a new Stern from the states
Post by: Cow Corner on January 12, 2017, 11:35:08 AM
Just out of curiosity.
What would be required to get a new Stern game imported from the states to work in Aus?

I guess that would depend on the title, availability...... might get a better deal on a 2nd hand game here and maybe not. Certainly heaps cheaper than buying NIB in this country that's for sure.

How much would you say on average?
Based on gameroomguys and looking at TWD Prem it looks like about $1000 cheaper (no freight or conversion added)
Metallica Pro looks about $800 (no freight or conversion added)

This is only for Sam system games, unsure of spike.

What I meant was it's cheaper buying a 2nd hand game from o/s compared to a NIB game here and maybe even a 2nd hand game here.
I'm only talking about buying off collectors on Pinside, not off dealers. I try to avoid dealers wherever possible, although Joe at KJWHF has been very good to deal with and the best I have come across.
