Nice. Well timed.

A press release dated 4 February 2013 confirmed that ITV Studios and Pukeko Pictures plan to re-invent the classic Thunderbirds series as twenty six, thirty minutes episodes, using a mix of CGI animation and live-action model sets, for CITV to be aired in 2015.

Congrats Mike, should be popular in the US as well.

Will the art change between the old series and the 2015 series?
Will the pin be based on 2015 story line / art?

What a brilliant theme. What a great tribute to Gerry Anderson. This IS very exciting ! Well done Mike !

I grew up on Thunderbirds. I don't have any merchandise except the UK Box set. My son is right at that age to start watching the shows.

Where do I sign ?

THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO !

I'm thinking this game will have many possibilities. The list of Toys is endless. Obviously the Thunderbirds themselves, and even Thunderbird 2 has a number of machines (inc Thunderbird 4).

Then you have the characters. Outside the Tracy Family, you have Brains, Korano, Tin Tin, Penelope, Parker (Yes Milady!). Obviously "The Hood" will be the bad guy.

Episodes - There's PLENTY of material to create a storyline and ruleset around. I've pulled out the box set and I'll have to watch them all again !

The target audience is the older generation, and lets face it, "who" didn't watch Thunderbirds every Sunday morning, followed by the Wrestling ? I think this is a fantastic theme full of potential that will appeal to my generation (old farts). I think the kids will get into the game once they play it.

Yes yes yes, great theme.

Animated backglass with TB1 lifting off??????

Plenty of scope for some cool modes and great toys.  I wondered a few times why this theme wasn't ever done back in the day.  I still vividly recall getting up at 6am in the morning, sitting in front of the poxy little heater we had in the middle of winter watching Thunderbirds.  Good memories and if the new series is good, the machine will appeal to both young and almost old  i.e us.

I am old and I didn't get off on this show at all! Something really creepy about the puppets.
I wish you all the best Mike and to the people that seem to have already preordered.
Was secretly hoping for. SCOOBY DOO.
I look forward to seeing the progress made and artwork.

Yes I too would be up at 6 to watch. My Grandson now 8 has been watching since he was 6. He also loves Gigantor, Captain Scarlet, Donald Duck, and Tom and Jerry over most of the new stuff so he will be out for a play on this one>  %.%

I hope this theme does well . I would like to see  future themes reflex current pop culture. As this would generate new interest. Modern bands, singers, tv. Or just a unlicencex themes, with all the bells and whistles.
