Title: Playfield rotisserie
Post by: GAP on December 22, 2008, 02:29:05 PM
Hi guys, this is my version (V1) of a rotisserie I made about 2 years ago when I overhauled Scared Stiff. V2 & V3 were also made for a couple of Perth guys. Not pretty but functional.

Cheers
Graeme

Very impressive. How long did it take to build? How does the playfield get fastened?

Hi Tony,
The playfield is secured using the hangers at the lower end with clamping blocks on top of them. The other (top) end of the playfield is fixed using the adjustable felt covered blocks above, below & beside the playfield. See right side of attached image.

Cheers
Graeme
ps it took about half a day to make

I was lucky enough to be one of the Perth guys that got one of these - it certainly makes working on the playfield a lot easier, quicker and safer.

I used to balance the playfield on two saw-horses.  Had a few 'oopsys' over the years and was way too low for my back.  Put Graeme's beast on a table and it is all there right in front of you.

cheers
Ian

I've definitely gotta make me one of these... It would make restoring playfields SO much easier!

Thanks for sharing Graeme. ^^^
