I say if it aint broke don't fix it.
If the original board is still ok why replace it?
I think you are jumping the gun here, fix the common problems, connectors and grounding then worry about if the board is no good.
The exchange rate is terrible at the moment so best to hold off.

jeez I wish I knew that. I have a pf that I started to use to practice on like mylar removal, touch up etc. It was in quite good nick. Had I known you had the game I would have shown you the pf and if suitable, would have given it to you.  @.@

Thanks Rob, I sold it to a mate. The p/field is still pretty good on the old girl :)
But they do make good coffee tables if you can't find someone that could put it to good use :)

I have contacted Andrew (Beaky) to take a look at my boards so hopefully something good comes out of that, the playfield is finished ready for re assembly but need new parts first.
Stencils for the cabinet are in the pipeline and this weekend I will start the cabinet repair. I have borrowed a u-beaut crimper in the past from a friend but this time I have ordered one from Amazon that was recommended on this forum, I will re pin the connectors when this arrives. Over all it is coming along nicely. I have a rock polisher that I use to clean up all the metal pieces on the playfield etc which is an absolute winner when it comes to getting everything shiny again. More to come..

Cheers Brettski... :)
