Hi Guys Paul here from Castlemaine Victoria. I have been a member for a while now and thought I would introduce myself. At the moment I only have a sharkeys shootout and luv the game. I have an OZ LE leaving Jersey Jacks at the end of the month hopefully and ordered a Hobbit LE. I am almost 50 with the chimes still ringing in my ears from the 70s EM machines which is next on my pinny list . Cant wait to find one that needs some TLC so I can try to understand and appreciate the workings of them. Anyway this site is great and I look forward to gaining a wealth of knowledge. Cheers Paul

Hi Paul and welcome. Good to see you started off with some upcoming NIBs for your collection. Good quality stuff from JJP and well worth the wait. Your fond memory of EMs from the 70s is similar to mine although the chimes in my ears might be old age.

Welcome Paul
Sharkey shoot outs a great game. And I bet your excited about Woz
Welcome to the forum and good luck on the hunt for an Em there are plenty of threads on how to rebuild stepper units and score reels etc in the help 1on1 section

Gday Paul .
Congrats on your NIB purchases . I can't bring myself to fork out the coin to buy NIB.
When you get an EM, grab the manual and the schematic . Armed with those and a good pair of eyes you will be able to find and fix any fault .
Once you understand how an EM works (and it ain't that hard) you'll be able to fix any EM cause they all work the same way, regardless of manufacturer .
