Small update, continued to sand and apply body filler.
Back box picture shows the 'balls' of glue after scrapping. If you don't do this step your sand paper continually blocks up and you end up wasting heaps of paper and time.
Cleaned lock down mechanism and gave it a polish - new decals applied.
Re-grained the lock down bar with 400 grit wet and dry and a spray of WD40. Followed by the polishing wheel
