I'm mainly a mac user but have no real allegiance. I can say that my copy of Snow Leopard is still running well 7 years on and has never been re imaged. Try that with windows!

Yeah I'll give Apple that much. Windows always seems to get slow and need a reinstall every 12 months or so.

OSX on the other hand is rock solid.

........................and NOTHING engineering related will run on Apple machines. My CNC router table won't and neither will any of my engineering and printed circuit design programs.

Apple computers are for people in the graphics industry almost exclusively and posers........flame away!!!
