Thanks !!!

What Dan said. I don't know how many times I've been in search of a particular machine, coming to the conclusion that the world is going to end because i'll never find it. When I do get it, the next 12 months are full of forum and ebay listing with that game in it. My last game was a good example: Family Guy.

I have one but not for sale sorry

Where are you from?
-
ESB's come up for sale on average every 6 months or so.
Last one I know of went to the states a few months ago.
Not liked by a lot of players due to the hard shot to the right single drop target and the centre targets are known to break from being hit so hard, still a favourite of mine.
If you are after it for the playfield layout it is nearly the same as space invaders.
-
I am from France.
I am after hit only because of the art, and because ESB was my favorite episode.

Sounds like something that has been lost in translation. &&

Close the door, I phone the shipping line !

5000 USD, out of budget ^&^
Euro is weak compared to USD, we lost 20% since last December and it makes deals difficult.
EUR vs AUD is stable and all-in it will cost me less to buy it in Australia. It is also a challenge to bring back a pinball from the Earth's other side.

No close ups of the playfield &^&
If this was closer to me, I would be definitely having a look :D
-
Thanks for the link !
I would prefer to deal with a collector who can arrange a minimal packing.
-
Summer bump !
Ready to import our 3rd container from USA for our group of fellows but cannot find a ESB in Australia !
THAT SUCKS !!! !!! !!!
-
Do you know good retailers I could ask for an Empire Stries Back ?
I need to search in new directions.
-
There is one on eBay Aus now it's located in Canberra
-
Looks ok to me any tips for our budding buyer to be aware of?
-
It will cost me a lot to ship it - so I would prefer to import a nice machine (even if I have to put few extra hundreds AUD).
This one on eBay is not great - average cab, weared playfield and BG, missing bumper caps...
-
I would pay 2000AUD for a nice machine if you are in a major coastal city and can put it on pallet.
-
Can't see you getting a nice example for $2k.
-
I'm pretty sure a good one for $2k will be snapped up pretty quickly
-
Was thinking the same thing.
-
Valentin, unless you have had private offers from AP members, I doubt anyone on this forum has an TESB for sale
-
When I asked for valuation, feedbacks were around 1500AUD.
Let go over 2000AUD then !
-
The problem is not finding one for the amount you want to pay ... it's finding one full stop . Very few of these around and those collectors who do have them will rarely let them go .
-
Here's one.

Admittedly it looks to be in nice condition cosmetically speaking but the seller is clearly hoping to find a buyer on a Star Wars high after the release of the new movie.

Except it's missing 2 flippers.

Too many zeros in that price. ^.^

Well picked up !

Agreed. I was offered 2 of these for $1500 each 7 years ago. I thought that was too much at the time.
-

Yep, owned it since 1981 and is going to own it a whole lot longer too.
Not that it makes any difference but thats not a buy it now price either, 15k is just the starting bid!

Except it's missing 2 flippers.
Added some stand offs to hide, and added some next to the lower flippers to make it look "factory". So some extra screw holes in the playfield, always a must have.
Sold mine for $1925.00 on ebay seven years ago. Thought I'd hit the jackpot!
And here's one on auction, but he does point out the game is $15K elsewhere!! http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Empire-Strikes-Back-Pinball-Very-Rare-Own-a-Piece-of-Star-Wars-History-/252216249663?hash=item3ab9428d3f:g:jAEAAOSwhkRWcoWB

Thinking of eBaying mine.

Up ! Still searching, last one on my SS list.
