Missing elektra plastics
« on: September 28, 2013, 10:28:01 AM »
Hi I'm looking for two plastics from a elektra pinball. I have attached a drawing of the two I am missing.

I don't think there is many left out there.

Another idea is what type of plastic does Bally pinballs used, I noticed it is kind of flexible. I haven't came across any of this plastic I'd love a few clear pieces to try and make the missing plastics.

Any ideas.

As far as I know, Bally/Williams etc used butyrate plastic. This does have some flex, but is prone to breaking/shattering.
When I make repro plastics I always use Lexan or at the very least polycarbonate plastic. These materials are flexible & bulletproof.

Hope that helps.

I contacted pinballblaze. They have only one plastic left. And not the ones I need. I will have a look and see what sort of plastic we can find.

Ddstoys you wouldn't have white acorns instead of the metal ones do you. Or even a post. Rather pay some one of here than a shop.

Any elektra owners out there who could help me out with a scan or photocopie of the top middle plastic. I am hoping to get the shape so I can cut a new plastic. Then will just paint it a colour. So my ball does not get caught in the hole any more. Could be a long time befor we find plastics for an Elektra.
