Dr Who, ball sticking

I have just acquired a Dr Who where the ball gets stuck below the lowest bumper against a rubber.
The manual, page 2-48 shows two rubbers (A &C) at this point but mine only has one. I can't work out from the diag. how this actually works. !@#
 If anybody has this pinnie, can you help by telling me how this is set up. @@^
EM score motors wanted- nonworking, broken, burnt, etc..

Thanks for the quick, informative responce! ^^^ That's how mine is set up. I might try a tighter rubber.

Don't always take the "Rubber Guide" as gospel. Sometimes they just look or feel right. I only used the one rubber in that area - not two. From memory, it was not even the size in the "rubber Guide" - I just used what felt right.
