Do you ever have pinball moments like these ?
« on: April 17, 2010, 10:42:34 PM »

I spent a few hours late this afternoon and this evening on the "ongoing saga" that is my Jurassic Park. Anyway - long story short - I fitted my NEW Dino Left/Right motor and I was busy play-testing the game. I'd had a couple of beers and I was tired so I thought I'd wrap it up and relax - I felt I'd tested everything and I was rather pleased with myself..

But I thought to myself - "Just one more game - to test the Player 2, Player 3 and Player 4 Displays".. .. ..

..

..

Doh  &^& Its a DMD  &^&

Thankfully - no one was around - but I DID think that I've been spending too much time around EMs  %.% %.%

Just had to share my moment !

Good one!

All I will say - is that the coin box is not a good place to stash the balls when you are working on the machine...

About 6 hours of moving EVERYTHING around in the garage, playfield out, the works - I finally remembered...  !@)

EDIT: At least you can blame the beer?

That reminds me of an ebay ad by a very well know local dealer who does a lot of cut and paste for his ads. This was for an electro-mechanical game.

"Displays are nice and bright".
