One for the car fans.
Anybody know who the design team is yet? The new Mustang looks quite sweet, hopefully the pin will be a winner too...

Good to see another car theme! Something other than band themes for people who don't like sic fi or comics is a good choice!

I agree, the new Mustang does look good from the early pics.

Sadly, the new 2014 Mustang looks a lot different than previous year models.

When I first saw it with all these new factory fins n spoilers etc all over it, I thought bloody awful.
They have rounded the body off in places instead of the excellent squared off 2012/2013 version.

See what the new lineup brings, but the pinny shld be awesome.
Ofcourse the LE models shld be sold out in the first 3 seconds. As someone rightly said, one ford pinny in every ford dealership n gary stern has a chance to do a 5000 (five thousand) LE run instead of low numbers.

Hope they bring out all different versions. The artwork shld be something special. Looking forward to it.
Hope the proto-type photos of the 2014 mustang were not set in concrete.

What will Stern do next, a Chevy or Camaro bumblebee pinny for those motor vehicle fans. Could be like ACDC followed by Metallica. Ford first then GMH USA ?

Loop, ramp, scoop rinse and repeat. RGR as always finds a practical way of deconstructing a pin into nothing more than a couple of key shots.

Give it a few years though, and I'm sure there will be people claiming this as a classic like Harley Davidson.

Holy Grail fun machine for any one who is a complete Ford fan like me. Add in the pinball fan and u have double reasons
to buy.

I can only speak for myself, but I find dissecting a machine down to work out shots only to get points is soooo boring unless u are in a competition, and even then, I think the highest score wins is boring as well, boring as hell.
The judges should balance things like ball time, number of multiballs during a ball, missions completed during a ball, style and flow of player and a few other things to work out position 1, 2 and 3 for trophys. Makes for a better style of pinball to watch for the audience.

When I play at home, I just like to bash the ball around, play serious for a bit trying for very hard shots, get some multiballs, try n keep the ball in play for as long as possible without trapping etc, cause that's pinball fun for me.
Watching some of the professional players is a snoozefest. The competitions run around the world have been operating on old formats for years.

I wouldn't mind the organisers to exclude trapping n some other bits n pieces to make it more spectator friendly.

Playing for a high score without trapping n passing, and having long balls kept in play would be soo much more fun IMO.
I wonder if any members have ordered a Mustang ? and what type so far.............

I play a similar style cavey, just play to enjoy and use different strategies to achieve the different objectives. I once wrote to Stern add a feature for flipper hold from indefinite to 1 sec so for comps ball trapping is dam hard to do - no response though

I showed this game to the guy I do a bit of neon for.. he is the guy with all the classic cars in the large shed and owned the whole Bryan Byrt FORD dealership for many years.. if anyone lives and breathes FORD it is this man. He also has a few arcade games in the shed including a pinball. His take on it was that it was a mess and if it didn't have the tag MUSTANG it could be any machine and so it was a resounding pass for him.

Without even playing the game?? Interesting as I'll make my final call on the game once I've played it :-)

Any player who catches, passes and pots shots consistently will ALLWAYS make a game look boring, but, for the average punter who would aim for the Gears targets it will be far more interesting to watch and dramatic for them to play.
I am still looking forward to having a crack and hopefully enjoy it.
I just want more humour and fun in pinball, especially when you are playing with mates. As it should be played.

If it isn't broke, it isn't pinball.
