Replacement 7 digit LED Displays for those tired or missing display problems.
AP Members $75 each, includes GST. Comes in two colours Orange or Blue.
I originally made the blue ones because I couldn't get anything for my Xenon pinball so I thought I would try Blue...works a treat and I'll post pictures when I finally finish restoring it. In the mean time have a look at them fitted into a Eight Ball Deluxe.
Left side fitted with Standard displays
Right Top fitted with Orange LED Display
Right Bottom fitted with Blue LED Display

wow that looks great are these direct replacements for the originals
-
Yes their just Plug and play,
and the best part is that you no longer need the
160V if you replace them all.
-
Felix - any plans for 6 Digit displays ?
-
I do like the warm glow that a standard display gives, IMO LEDs just look wrong.
-
Sweet - you need to do a 6 digit as well, otherwise you still need the HV for the credit/match display.
Have you found any problems with the 5v supply with the extra load?
cheers

6 Digit display comming up shortly. It was the lack of supply (shortage) that prompted
me to do the 7 Digit displays first.
There has been no problems with overloading the 5V supply by using the LED displays.
-
VERY nice Felix ! ^^^ Especially the blue. @@*
So if i understand correctly you can replace one of your LED displays and substitute it for a high voltage display and have it working synchronically with the rest of the high voltage displays ??
The reason i ask is that PINLED states that their displays need to replace all 5 high voltage displays, remove the high voltage fuse and they work on low voltage. However they state that one CAN NOT be substituted with a high voltage display. !@# !@# !@# ALL or none basically !
-
With mine you can replace any number, 1,2,3 or all. The picture of the EBD
shows 2 LED Displays and 3 standard displays working fine.
-
Any reason why PINLED would state this ?
Besides the obvious reason....

Excellent - can I put an order in for a 'set' (1*6 and 4*7) of the blue variety? Got to try them in my Stargazer :D :D :D

Oh they'd look awesome in a Stargazer. I reckon they'd look choice in a Fathom as well.

Ballywannabe... Ian, PM sent.
63wizz... Ian, yes they are made here by us.

Hi Pinfan,
Just read through Pinled web site and they say you can also replace any number in their system
www.pinled.de/pinledeng/html/produkte.php
so ......no stroke of genius on our behalf. LOL
Regards.

Thanks for the reply Felix.
This was not the case a couple of years ago. There was clear instructions to change all five.. !@#
Anyway i see a great product there, especially the 7 digit displays as every single set i have come across are burnt in the glass.

Felix - any plans to do Gottlieb System 1/80 or Williams 6/7 Digit ?
Great idea btw !

Hi Nino,
Not at this stage, I don't think there's enough of a demand to go through the excercise.
-
Felix,
I've sent you several emails and PM's with no reply.
I'd like to order a display from you. Can you please tell me if you supply a circuit diagram with the displays for future fault finding?
-
Hi Pinballer,
Sorry I hav'nt had much of a chance to get on the forum for a long time,
yes I can send you the circuit diagram if you wish.
Regards
Felix.
-
Good stuff, thanks Felix. Will send you an PM now.

Stu,
Sent you an email with PDF and invoice for one unit.
Ian,
Had little time to do the board as a 6 digit and very few requests so it was not made as a priority job,
will get around to it though, but at the moment I don't want to promise any dates....sorry.
-
Thanks Felix - just would not look right with blue scoring displays and red credit/match. Hope you get around to it one day!
cheers

Thanks for the PDF of the circuit diagram Felix, much appreciated. Sent you my payment last night via Netbank. Looking forward to receiving the display and trying it out.
