Title: Zax Amusements/ Port Melbourne
Post by: madness on September 03, 2009, 05:24:41 PM
Anyone delt with this mob before?
I only ask because he has a great deal of pins listed on his website with prices. But if you ask for details and pics,he says he will do it in a couple of days or so but over plenty of time they do not come !@#
So you ask him if they are for real and he tells me that hes got multiples but they are out on site ^&^
So my partner is down Melbourne way and gives him a call only to be told what you mean &^& i dont know !!@,but after a bit more conversation he tells her that  @.@ they might be out on site, dont really know &^&, i.ll give you a call later.
Well what a shithouse way to do business.Been a long time now and still no responce, maybe my hard earned is not welcome Melborne way ,i just dont kno !@#w

Just taking a look on the website, i'm wondering why you'd even bother.

Crazy prices, and if they're on site, even worse.

I bought one game years ago. Out the back were **lots** of games, obviously a container load and this was before the container boom took off. Lots of A and B list titles in various levels of dirtiness. I think they are more an operator than a retailer, keeping a dozen or so games on the floor and replacing them from that stock out the back as and when they sell some. That's my take on it anyway.

When I worked for an operator several years ago we used to do a bit of business with them but it was painful...........

Zax's Amusements are more focused on dealing with the operators and the amusement industry, rather than the home market.

Having said that, I too have had no problems with them over the years.

Bet you Mark C would be able to source any particular game and meet or most likely beat any price there anyway. Support our sponsor and tell him pinnies4me from AP sent you - it'll probably just mean he'll give a a cup of really bad coffee, but what the heck, it's free (the stomach pump after is covered by Medicare).
