temperamental vuk.
« on: May 22, 2011, 07:48:37 PM »
My maverick rocks. I love it and have great plans to restore it to chrome awesomeness. But before then, I need to fix the vuk. It works but I find more often than not you gotta bash both flippers repeatedly for it to register. Ive tried stretching and moving the little wire that sets it off when the ball drops, but this if anything has made it even more dicey. Do I need to replace the whole thing? Its kinda frustrating cos other than that she runs a treat. Thanks people.

Sounds like the switch itself is probably faulty.

Easiest way to test the switch is with the Game diagnostics.
Go to switch test and depress the switch with your finger.  If it doesn't register every time then it is most likely bad and needs to be replaced.

Greg at RTBB has the replacement part if you need it. ^^^
