My (almost) ‘Grail pin’
Today I picked up a Bronco
Backglass is great, playfield is great, even came with all the documentation
Overall the machine is fully working and in wonderful condition
So why is it a ‘Grail pin’ for me?
Back 40 years ago, one of my hangouts was the local fish & chip shop, they had only one game, but it was always being changed out.
Centigrade 37, Mustang, Sinbad, Flash, played them all there
Once, when playing Mustang, the ball got stuck. Luckily the shop owner had a key and was able to free the ball. While the ball was out he encouraged me to push the switches on the playfield. So I guess this was the first time that I had seen a pinball machine up close.
Maybe it is a part of the journey that made me a pinball fan
While this is not a Mustang, it is close enough

I remember playing my first pinball machine in 1973 at the local fish and chip shop.
It was a Royal Guard, been hooked ever since.

Very cool, thanks for sharing Pete. ^^^

That wouldn't have been the good old Lydiard St Fish & Chip Shop was it?? Great pick up Pete! :)
Brettski... :)

Yep, and from there it was only a walk downtown to get to Keiths

Great theme, great artwork and a FUN game to play. Layout was different to the norm with the 3 X DT arrangement. Happy to hear that an "almost Grail" machine is an EM. Need more EM love !

Good old Kieths, remember it well. I lived just over from you, about 4 doors up from the corner opposite side of the road towards the church (Blue stone Place) This was back in the 70's and a great time to be playing pinball and growing up! :) It was because I liked your dad's cakes so much I became a Pastrycook! LOL :)

For a bonus 10 points. What was the Zac Em they had at the fish & Chip Shop
Played it, but cannot remember the name of the game

what has that to do with a classic EM?
