It's so much better selling a much loved machine to another forum member. Could a members For Sale section be set up.

Already exists.
You just need 20+ post count to see it.
-
And when you reach 500 posts, you get access to Anything Goes Fight Club

which member is up for sale ?
where's this fight club %%$ %%$
You need 20 posts and the trading section of AP is available. We HAD to have this restriction as we had issues with fly by nighters dumping their games and then doing a runner.. long story..

Better yet, do what I prefer to do and sell to people who aren't entrenched forum members, but looking to get into the hobby with their first machine purchase.
You'll be helping to grow a hobby that is long overdue for expansion and new entrants with a fresh outlook.

I only have one pin and trouble finding a second pin so would like to buy off a member if possible...

Personally I think Newbies should had access to the for sale section ( to buy only) but be restricted in posting ads for the reason mentioned.

Good idea, but I don't think the forum software can handle that.

I understand the need for restrictions but as a brand new member myself I’m dying to get into the trading section but I’m struggling to bring my post count up without making useless posts or dredging up ancient threads.
