Definitely.
Some obvious benefits come to mind immediately;
Firstly the silk screened component labels will save time.
Secondly, not having to worry about rewinding the inductor, saves time.
Smart battery options will save CPU boards in the future.
Pinning down that tiny crystal saves.....er, that tiny crystal.

Sounds like a brilliant idea. ^^^

beaky:
they are my preferred replacement for damaged beyond repair OEM boards

Homepin:
I almost have all the parts in stock now to put together about 30 kits with ALL parts supplied. I don't intend to write an assembly manual as the screening on the boards is very complete with all part values as well as part numbers.

I won't be able to ship the kit with a lithium battery but everything else will be included.

Some component reading/identifying skills as well as soldering skills would be required.

Should have the kits together this week and it will be very much first in, best dressed....

Steevsee:
Great to know.
Thanks Mike.

DSB:
PM sent, Thanks Mike
