"The arcade trying to bring pinball back" CNN news vid

Just spotted this short CNNMoney article on a pinball venue in NYC. Looks like a sweet lineup. And pay for hourly access rather than per game!

AWESOME!
more pinball to the people
Wish in WA it was more in the public arena that it is. As a collector I would love a venue to let people play my machines for a small profit, but rent etc. is so frigging high!
pats on the back for the people who operate.  ^^^
If it isn't broke, it isn't pinball.

Time is probably better than per game as the current generation may not be prepared to put in the coin to get better and so get more bang for their buck in the future. Keeping them longer in front of a pinball may get their passion up.
Still loving my Metallica Premium

that is cool, they were on a podcast recently as well and if you are a regular the money that goes into the hourly and daily access is tracked and it goes towards paying off a machine, so if you rock up say $3k of game play you then get to pick from a range of machines in stock in that price bracket and take one home for keeps. But I checked their web site and the pins are not that cheap so it appears he is covering himself there but still $12 a hour is good, I would do it once a week if there were 30 pins in one place.
