Stern AC-DC. My first game on it.
« on: June 29, 2012, 03:17:15 PM »
I had my very first go on Sterns AC-DC today, my first thoughts, its a very fast game.
The canon shots I like and the mini playfield I liked to.
My first game I got a replay and a High Score but after that I went down hill.
This AC-DC was at the Courthouse Hotel, Newtown Sydney.
Downside for me was the price $2.00 for a 3.Ball game.
The Hotel had 7. other games, Addams Family, Fish Tails, Creature From The Black Lagoon, Transformers,  Star Trek The Next Gen, Tails Of Arabion Knights, and Theatre of Magic.

$2 for 3 balls is a bit rich but using a premium machine on site is pretty cool and well worth it.

I was taken to the cOurthouse when I went to Sydney a couple of years ago was great to see so many games in one place.

As for the dartboard if I ever go back I know a local with an evil Kkinevil that was hit by a dart tiny puncture hole on the front but on the back a big chunk the size of a 10c coin amazes me how it didn't smash

At least it is a smoke free area these days.

There is no way in a million years I would put those beauties on site, espescially the latest ac/dc.

I would have sleepless nights worrying about it.

I have purchased machines from the owner before, nice guy. scored a nice bugs bunny machine from him.

Well done on sharing the photos.  ^^^

Nice to see a room full of pinnies instead of the usual poker machines for a change!

Poker Machines was in the next room.  Was a small room where the pinball machines where
and he could not fit another if he tried.

Great looking line up of sited pins and hats off to the OP.  If that was local to me I'd be there every Friday night pumping coins into them.

The other games needed a service, The Addams Family had a fuse blown, shown on the DMD as an error. Tails of the Arabian Knights had two balls stuck in the shooter lane ball up-kicker. Only had one other game on Creatures but the other games I just looked over. But the best game there was AC-DC hands down.
Call me old fashion  but I still think that $2.00 for a 3. ball credit is a bit rich!

2 bucks for 3 balls is a bit steep but I suppose at least the option for a game is there unlike most pubs these days.
